Hello and welcome from our team, here at New Dawn Malinois Rescue we are passionate about saving Malanois, promoting the amazing qualities this unique breed has and raising awareness of what makes a suitable home for each individual Malinois. This way and only this way can we ensure a bright future for the dogs.
‼️Can you help us‼️
This is Kia she is ( we believe) a Pondenco Campenero
Kia has spent two years of her life in a Spanish rescue then we stepped up and offered her a space here with us in the UK
We were expecting Kia to find her forever home ( or foster or foster to adopt) fairy quickly because she's such a lovely dog
Sadly this has not been the case and we have had little interest in this lovely girl
Kia is in kennels where she has been now for a few weeks
Kia hates being in a kennel and is causing issues with other dogs at the property
Kia is fine in the house and gets on with most dogs however our fosters own dog hates Kia and Kia is not keen on the baby human ( she's ok with older children) so cannot live in the fosters house
WE NEED TO MOVE KIA URGENTLY IDEALLY TO A HOME ENVIRONMENT BUT WOULD CONSIDER A FARM STABLE YARD ETC WHERE KIA COULD HAVE ( supervised) FREE ROAM FOR MOST OF THE DAY ( Kia is house trained and happy to sleep in a crate)
If you are able to help please pm one of the team
New Dawn Malinois Rescue is dedicated to rescuing and providing forever homes for dogs in need.
We offer fostering and adoption, please see our available dogs below.
We also rehome dogs, if you are the owner of a Malinois who needs to be rehomed please contact us so we can discuss your dogs needs.
New Dawn Malinois Rescue was founded in 2017, since then we have assisted in the rehoming of hundreds of dogs including some to the forces as working dogs.
Our team of dedicated volunteers work tirelessly to assist all that need our help. As we are all volunteers please be aware responses may not be instantaneous but we will come back to you as soon as possible. We are passionate, knowledgeable, and committed to our mission.
Kia-- She’s house trained & sleeps in her crate of a night with no problems, she can also be left alone for a while as long as she has some toys and chews to entertain herself she’s fine.
Out on walks she’s completely non reactive to anything, will happily walk past cats, dogs barking at her in close proximity, people etc and she walks to heel/on a loose lead.
Here at New Dawn Malinois Rescue we try to assist as many dogs as we possibly can. However this can be costly and we often find ourselves in need of funds for food, transport, training or accommodation for the dogs in our care.
If you can set up a monthly donation even for £1 you can help us to reach more dogs in need.
