Before fostering or adopting through New Dawn we ask that you carefully consider if this breed is right for you. We will always ask what research you have done on Malinois and how your home is suited for a dog.
This is not to be intrusive, Malinois can jump over most fences, need more exercise and intellectual stimulation than most breeds. This is not a breed that will sit with you on the sofa all day everyday, they can be destructive if bored so mental stimulation and enrichment is needed to keep them happy.
If you have researched the breed and believe that you have a foster or furever home perfect for one of our dogs we will be happy to assist you.
We ask for an adoption fee of £300. This will probably not cover the costs of transport, vet check ups and other services your dog has had before coming to you. But it does help towards that and assisting other dogs in need. Once you have completed your adoption form and checks the fee will need to be paid before collecting/ receiving the dog from transport. The adoption fee is non refundable.
We offer RBU (Rescue Back Up) to all dogs fostered and adopted through New Dawn. Details of this can be found in our adoption policy.
As a foster or adopter of a dog through New Dawn Malinois Rescue you are also entitled to free virtual training with Roses and Rebels Dog Training should you encounter any issues.
Please complete the form and email to admin@newdawnmalinoisrehoming.co.uk our team will contact you to complete checks which include sending proof of address, proof of right to have a dog at the address and a video homecheck.
Here at New Dawn Malinois Rescue we try to assist as many dogs as we possibly can. However this can be costly and we often find ourselves in need of funds for food, transport, training or accommodation for the dogs in our care.
If you can set up a monthly donation even for £1 you can help us to reach more dogs in need.
